All good things come to an end. And so did our jorney through Thailand. But no need to be sad, it ended with a big display of nature and beauty.
Finally, after 12/13 tiring days, we decided to take some time for relax. Still, we did want to avoid very touristic places, so instead of going to the over exploited Phuket we took a boat trip through some islands in Phang-Nga bay. It wasn’t easy to find a trip that’d show you some nice places avoiding the more crowded ones and in the end it was a bit posh for us, but all in all it was worthy.
One of the advantages of this cool/expensive tours is that they are more than kind with you. Instead of finishing at the peer as programmed, they made a stop to drop us at Ko Yao Noi. Again, if you want to enjoy something a bit more authentic, avoid crowed places as Ko Tao or Ko Samui. For us, this was the perfect cherry on our holiday’s top. Nice, small and peaceful island. We grab some scooters and went around the island in barely half a morning and I think we didn’t see 10 tourists in the whole island, which will give you the idea of how authentic it is.
As always, this is just a brief summary so you can appreciate the full gallery at my portfolio with a bit of context. This being the last entry of my Thailand photo galleries I have to say it was an awesome country, way better than expected from my side, and that I did feel I need some more thousands of photos practice wise. 🙂
PD: If you are interested in the travel itself don’t hesitate to visit Viajando con Meraki for the full guide (soon to be release) with all the specifics.
